I absolutely adore this engagement session that took place in Bourbonnais, Illinois with country couple, Ashley and Brett. After rescheduling the session twice due to the rainy spring and flooding we've had, the third time truly was a charm - I can't believe how lucky we got!
We started the evening at the Kankakee State Park and then Perry Farm, making full use of the gorgeous sunlight. But when you're in the woods and it's an hour before sunset, always beware - it didn't take long until the mosquitos made it very clear they care about bug spray!
We ended the session though with the coziest setting - in their backyard with their pup and vine-wrapped wooden swing set.

Excited to see these two again next month when we celebrate the day of their wedding!
