Katie and Patrick had such a beautiful vineyard wedding at Acquaviva Winery this past August. The weather was predicting rain at first, but luckily it turned out to be just a small morning drizzle. Their wedding day was filled with an array of emotions, and we sensed that these two were so ready to be married!
Katie got ready in the beautiful estate just down the street from the winery, overlooking the fruitful vineyard. Meanwhile, Patrick got ready in the wine cellar, exchanging laughs with his groomsmen and anxiously waiting to see his bride.
They saw each other for the first time that afternoon in the vineyard. After giving each other the biggest hug and kiss, they exchanged vows. I love when couples share this intimate time together! The bridal party then joined us for some portraits before the ceremony, dressed in light lavender dresses and navy suits. Their friends were just the best! So encouraging and down to earth.
Just before the ceremony began, the sun surprised everyone as it broke through what seemed to be permanent overcast skies. The warm light of the setting sun glowed as Katie and Patrick said “I do.”
Following after, everyone gathered for wine and cocktails under the stars. The party continued with Katie and Patrick’s stunning first dance in the ballroom, toasts, delicious cupcakes, and lots of dancing!
