We had the DREAMIEST fall engagement session with Courtney and Brett at the Fabyan Forest Preserve in Geneva, IL. The weather was surprisingly warm and the evening sun was glowing so beautifully from behind the trees. This was our first time meeting these two, but it felt like we’ve known them forever! They are seriously two of the sweetest, most down to earth people I’ve ever meet. Brett had Courtney laughing the entire time and it was just so much fun to document the love these two share for each other!
We started out the session with photos with their adorable lab, Hudson! This pup was a massive bundle of energy and he didn’t hold back on giving kisses to his two favorite humans. After lots of doggy love, we moved on to some cozy photos walking through the park. This is my favorite time of the year to photograph at Fabyan Forest Preserve. The leaves on the trees were the most vibrant autumn colors! We finished the session with a dressier look, and I just love the flowy burgundy dress Courtney chose that complimented the scenery so well. It was really fun to see these two get more and more comfortable as the session went on.
We are thrilled to celebrate Courtney & Brett’s June wedding next year at The Brix on the Fox in Carpentersville, IL. It is going to be an incredible day and it can’t get here soon enough!
