Alexa and Clint’s engagement session could not have been any more perfect! We started indoors with lots of snuggles and dancing at a cozy studio loft in downtown Kankakee, Illinois. These two were all laughter and their chemistry was so fun to capture.
When the sun began to set, we drove out to a local Christmas Tree Farm in Bourbonnais called Christmas Trees ‘R’ Us for more photos. Talk about a DREAMY winter wonderland! Thankfully, we had the most amazing weather so there was no shivering - yay! I do not normally do winter sessions, but when I do, I really appreciate the warmer ones with freshly fallen snow. Not to mention, their absolutely adorable dogs that had the best time running around and eating the snow. I had fun capturing some of those candid moments as well as you’ll see. Bringing your furry friend to the engagement session is always encouraged! :)
These two small town love birds are planning their wedding day at The Cannery - a gorgeous, rustic chic ballroom with exposed brick. This will be my first time there and I can’t wait to document every moment of Alexa and Clint’s wedding day!
