Courtney and Brett had a beautiful indoor summer wedding at The Brix on the Fox in Carpentersville, Illinois – not too far outside of Chicago. This Illinois wedding day has tons of inspiration for indoor modern events with purple florals and bridesmaids dresses. 

Looking back on this wedding day, Courtney and Brett were so incredibly sweet and kind people to work with! We had their engagement session in the fall at Fabyan Forest Preserve almost a year before their wedding, and they brought their dog along! 

On their wedding day, I remember everything just flowed so smoothly. Courtney and her mom shared a sweet mother daughter moment in the morning. There were tearful first look moments with Courtney’s bridesmaids and father. The couple planned a first look together before the ceremony and enjoyed celebrating with their closest family and friends after saying “I Do”.

Courtney and Brett had a wonderful wedding party. It truly was a great mix of fun and kind people to spend the day with. I loved how Courtney and Brett shared a beautiful first dance with all their guests surrounding them. The details of this wedding day were beautiful – from the reception details and florals to the dessert table… I LOVE a good dessert table!

When planning their wedding day, Courtney and Brett shared with me that they envisioned their wedding day to be a fun celebration of their love! I truly think they brought that vision to life and more. I loved photographing Courtney and Brett’s summer wedding day at The Brix on the Fox!
