Looking back on Kassie and Austin’s summer wedding day at Jennifer’s Garden in Morris, Illinois has my heart!
Kassie and Austin’s wedding was the hottest wedding day we’ve ever photographed in the Chicagoland summer. This wedding day incorporated so many beautiful details! A few of my favorite details were… The mother of the bride passed down a necklace from the bride’s grandmother. It was a very sweet, tearful moment, and I remember my eyes watering! The bride also had a unique and special fabric sewn under her dress in remembrance of her grandmother who passed away. These special moments and details were an honor to witness and photograph!
Even with the intense heat on this wedding day, there was a little rain, too! The ceremony and family portraits had to move inside due to weather, but the wedding day was gorgeous nonetheless. During bridal party portraits, it was raining on and off, but we were still able to capture some beautiful photos. I really enjoyed their outdoor portraits on Kassie and Austin’s wedding day! LOVED the sunset portraits, too, as we were thankful for a beautiful sunset glow that evening.
