One thing is for certain in life, there will always be surprises. How we handle them determines the outcome. Despite the Covid-19 Pandemic, Michaela and Peter handled their surprise with positivity, acceptance, and most of all LOVE. They were determined to keep their promise to each other to be husband and wife on their original wedding date, 5.30.20.
Their wedding was not quite what they had planned for and a lot smaller- but they were surrounded by the people they love. Town and Country Events was a beautiful venue for an intimate ceremony and even more of their friends and family watched remotely, as it was streamed live online. Afterwards, we met with more of their family and friends for some portraits at the classic train station park in Downtown Kankakee. It was a beautiful, sunny day in May and the weather could not have been more perfect.
I am thrilled to photograph their full wedding reception which they will have at a later date and will include all of their friends and family. Congratulations Michaela and Peter!
