You may have noticed that there has been much less posts lately, and that's because we have some big news! We couldn't resist being away from the mountains much longer, and so about a week ago we made the decision... We moved to Virginia!
Why Virginia? Well there are many reasons why we chose to move, but Virginia is particularly special because the first time we ever traveled together was when we took a trip to the smokey mountains. That was what started our love with the mountains. Then the following year we went back and ended up getting engaged in Gatlinburg! There's also the slogan, "Virginia is for lovers." Being a wedding photographer, what better place to be! I can't wait for all the lovely couples I will have the chance to meet and photograph in the gorgeous mountains and scenery that Virginia has to offer.
Our cozy home is tucked away in the country, not too far from Charlottesville, with private trails and mountain views. We're constantly amazed by the peace and quiet, the glittery night sky, and waking up to our neighbor's horses in the field outside our house. I also hear that it is quite warmer than back in Illinois. ;)
We have plans to visit Illinois throughout 2017 as we still have some amazing couples with weddings coming up... Including our own on August 5! We have also decided to book a select number of weddings in Illinois for 2018, as well as anywhere in the US. We love having the ability to travel, and it is especially exciting when it's for a wedding!
